School resumes on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. We are excited about the opportunities that 2012 will bring. Our faith doesn't waiver in God's word. We know that he has great things in store for each of us in our efforts to prepare minds for leadership and hearts for service. In recognizing General Douglas A. MacArthur's thoughts in Build Me a Son, we ask God to help us teach our students to be strong and proud yet gentle, to be filled with compassion for those who fall, to have high expectations with a clear heart, and to be humble to remember the simplicity of true greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, and the meekness of true strength. God continues to bless us daily at McClain Christian Academy with amazing students who share a spirit of love and concern for others. They continually reach high on their journey to be successful. Great things will be happening in 2012. Stand back and watch! |

It is hard to imagine that we have completed the first half of the school year. It seems like yesterday that we were looking forward to the first day of school and now we are looking forward to the first day of a new year. There are so many opportunities for our students to be their best in all that they do. We continue to have high expectations for our students as we "prepare minds for leadership and hearts for service." We provide a Christ-centered environment preparing our students to live a life of success, honor, and service. God continues to bless McClain Christian Academy. It is with his blessings that we look forward to the beginning of a great new year, 2012. |

We are running and walking to our new school home. God has blessed us with our facility at Fairview but we are eager to get into our new place that we can call our own. We need your help. In our "GIFT" Campaign (Growing in Faith Together), we have an opportunity to participate in our Journey by Faith Development Campaign. We have Legacy Naming Opportunities that allows us to donate money to have areas of the school building named in honor of someone that is near and dear to our hearts. Areas that could be named after someone are the library, the Cafe, Middles School Wing, Media Center, Courtyard, Art Room, Preschool Wing and/or Elementary Wing (contact the school for amounts). Also, you can participate in the Faith Walk by donating money to name a courtyard or walkway paver, a walkway bench, or the Fountain of Living Water in honor or in memory of someone. These opportunities will help us meet our goal of $450,000. I hope you will or you know someone that can help us make a donation to honor or remember someone who is special in your life. We know that God has great plans for our school and that he is guiding and directing us each step of the way. We ask that you run and walk with us on this journey, too. We need you by our side. |

McClain Christian Academy is on a journey. That is, "A Journey by Faith." We are trusting God to guide and direct our steps as we journey toward our school home. We know that God has a vision for our school. We have the opportunity to purchase 12 acres currently housing a structure that will provide space for our Pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade classes. This site provides us growth potential by adding a gymnasium, football field, and additional classroom buildings. We are in Phase 1 of our Development Campaign to reach our goal of $450,000 for down payment on this property. We want very much to be able to move into this our "new home" by January 1, 2012. Prayerfully, we ask that you help us in reaching this goal. So many of you have already shown your support and love for our school. The lasting effects of your donations will have a great impact on our students now and in the future. We strive to teach our children to be life-long learners and to be disciples for Christ now and in the years to come. There are so many ways that you can help in this campaign. Please click on Giving and then Journey by Faith for more information. Thank you for your continued interest and support in our school. Habakkuk 2:2-3. |
