September is loaded with lots of activities for everyone.  The month starts with our football team hosting the Knoxville School for the Deaf on Thursday.  Parents night comes up this Friday, September 9 from 6 to 10.  Next week is Spirit Week at McClain Christian as we celebrate Homecoming Week.  Lots of excitement is in the air.  We have lots of fans who come out to support our boys and girls in Volleyball, Football, and Cheerleading.  We continue to be grateful to all of our volunteers who works hard to make these activities a success.

With all of the extra-curricular activities taking place, we remain focused on providing a Christian education at McClain CHRISTIAN Academy.  We are seeing positive results with our Elementary, Middle and High School Learning Communities.  Teachers are reaching beyond the classroom to provide resources that positively affect student achievement.  Students are engaged in the learning process.  I wish you could have had a taste of the "edible animal cells."  They were quite different and very creative to say the least.
