What is a Christian school to you? Prayer time? Devotionals? Bible reading? Certainly. All of these things take place in a "Christian" school. Much time is given to learning about God's word in Bible classes. Students are engaged in talking to God in prayer. But a Christian school is more than just praying and reading the Bible. A Christian school exemplifies Christ-like behavior. Christ-likeness is obvious not only during the school day but during extra-curricular activities. As adults we model Christ in our words and actions. We set the example for our children, our students. A Christian school loves, encourages, and supports each other. We place God first in our lives, others second, and ourselves last. We recognize God's grace and mercy and ask him to guide our steps toward His plan for each of us. Like many other Christian schools, McClain Christian Academy models Christ-likeness. We teach Christ and the love that He has for everyone. Our Christian light shines in our school and throughout our community. Visit us sometime to see God at work.
