Welcome to the McClain Christian Academy athletic department..... Here at MCA, it is our goal to make our young athletic department a beacon to the Middle Tennessee community. We will do this by ensuring our student-athletes and coaches keep their focus on Christ and develop an understanding of what Christian service and leadership mean. It is important for everyone involved with our sports programs to know the role athletics can play in their personal walks of Faith and how they can use these competitions to show the blessings God has bestowed upon them. Our coaches are taught to demonstrate the life lessons which can be learned from hard work and that being a champion has nothing do with standings or a scoreboard. McClain Christian Academy views sports as part of the balance that the school strives to achieve in its approach to extracurricular activities. We take great pride in the family atmosphere that has been created in our athletic program's infancy, and we are excited for the influence that we have in helping shape young Christian lives. Currently, all of our MCA athletic teams compete in the Middle Tennessee Athletic Conference (MTAC). Our competitive sports teams include football, volleyball, cross-country, girls and boys basketball, bowling and golf. We are also currently exploring the additions of tennis and track for 2011-12 and have an eye toward adding lacrosse, boy's volleyball and softball in coming years.
